One in three people will eventually contract cancer. That statistic is alarming, but it’s nothing new- cancer has been one of the leading killers in America for decades, and it’s expected to overtake heart disease as the number one within five years. With technological improvements in radiology making enormous strides every year, though, we’re starting to develop a much better understanding of the disease, as well as much better tools with which to fight it. Still, it’s going to be a difficult battle.
